What is Scholee?
Scholee is a global AI scholarship-discovery app for students worldwide. You build a profile — your nationality, study level, field of study, target countries, and grades — and Scholee surfaces the scholarships you’re genuinely eligible for, with a personalised “why it fits” insight and an AI advisor to help you make sense of your options. Scholee is purely a discovery tool: we never track income or financial data.
How does matching work?
Scholee runs a deterministic matcher over 358 verified scholarships spanning 36 host countries and 119 eligible nationalities. Each opportunity is scored against four core criteria:
- Nationality — whether your citizenship is eligible.
- Host country — whether your target study destinations are covered.
- Study level — Foundation, Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD.
- Field of study — how closely the scholarship aligns with your discipline.
The matching itself is rules-based and runs at no extra cost. A cached AI insight then explains, in plain language, why each scholarship is a good fit for you.
Is Scholee free?
Scholee is a paid app with a 7-day free trial — there is no permanent free tier. The trial gives you full access so you can explore your matches before deciding. After the trial, a subscription is US$19.99 per month or US$119.99 per year. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Your subscription is billed and managed through your app-store account, so you cancel it there — not inside Scholee:
- iOS (App Store): Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Scholee → Cancel Subscription.
- Android (Google Play): open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Scholee → Cancel.
How do I delete my account & data?
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, or by emailing support@scholee.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, grades, saved scholarships, and matches from our systems, subject to any limited records we are legally required to retain. Note that deleting your account is separate from cancelling your subscription — be sure to cancel through the App Store or Google Play as well (see above).
How is my data handled?
Scholee collects academic information solely to match you to scholarships. We do not collect income, household-financial, or banking data, and we do not perform ongoing GPA monitoring. Subscription payments are processed entirely by the App Store / Google Play — we never see your card details. For the full picture of what we collect, why, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
Is the AI advisor reliable?
The AI advisor is a discovery aid, not an official source. It helps you interpret your matches and answer scholarship questions, but AI can make mistakes and eligibility rules, deadlines, and award amounts change. Always verify the details directly with the scholarship provider before you apply or make any decisions.
